Print, Neon and Studs

FEMININE with a touch of MASCULINE- this seems to have become my latest style mantra. I have been mixing flirty feminine pieces with cool menswear inspired pieces to create some edgy looks like here, here, here, here and here.  The juxtaposition of the 2 extreme styles is so harmonious that, I am always left stylishly surprised at the ease of pairing these pieces.. Today's look is no exception to this new mantra. The silky seashell printed dress gets that oomph when paired with the studded toe neon pumps. The dress on it's own is so vibrant ( an understatement in my opinion ), that it does not need any other accessory to get the put together  appeal. It is one of those timeless piece that will sure get a lot of use. The studded neon pumps were a recent purchase from Ideeli, and as any diva would do, I wore them the same evening I received them in the mail. They are comfortable enough for just a few hours of strutting. I wore this combo for a dinner out at Georgetown, with some relatives visiting from India.
