June Product Reviews! I am not being paid by any of the following companies. These are my honest reviews. St. Tropez Bronzing Lotion: I really love this product. I have been using Jergens forever (years), and I was getting tired of the smell and orange tint I would get after about 2.5 weeks of using it almost daily. I've been reading about this lotion for a long time, and finally took the plunge and bought it at Sephora. It's $40, but a little goes a long way. It gives me a color similar to the Kardashian's skin tone and glow when you see them dressed up. You have to be careful not to get streaks, but it is a darker lotion so you can see where it is going. There is barely no smell, and the slight smell it does have is refreshing and nice. Highly recommend this product. I like it more than the tans at spray-tan salons.
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush: This is a fun blush and blends into skin nicely. I use my index finger and rub it into my cheeks. It leaves a smooth and even finish. The color does lighten once on skin, so think of that if you plan on trying it. I like this blush because it does not leave a powdery residue or texture.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable: Good for a less expensive version than below. I have found that I need to put a clear balm on my lips if they are dry before using this balm/stick, because it will leave lines on dry lips. I have the color on the right, and it is great for a natural look.
Clinique Chubby Stick:This is my absolute favorite, much better than the Revlon version. The chubby stick does not leave lines, goes on incredibly smooth, stays on for a while, and leaves a shiny finish without the stickiness of a gloss. I have the color on the right in the picture above. It is not dark, and gives my lips a warm flushed color. Perfect for those of you who don't like sticky glosses (me!). Make Up For Ever HD Powder: Wonderful, Fantastic, Excellent, Dream Product! Haha, this is how I feel about this powder. I use a loose powder brush to apply just a little bit of this product as my last step when getting ready. It gives my skin a great finish, cuts down shininess, and leaves my skin feeling super smooth. I make sure to put extra on my nose and forehead, and I don't have to make any touch-ups throughout the day. Definitely worth the price.
Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray: I got this to put in my hair while at the pool and before leaving the pool. It helps with loose wave formation. It will not give you tight or semi-tight beach curls unless you already have curly hair. It helps with volume and texture on my straight-wavy hair. My favorite thing about this product is the smell. This is great for the beach and pool... just stick it in your summer tote!
Do you have any products to recommend? I love hearing about new make-ups and beauty products. Have an awesome weekend!
