…Prohibit

It’s not a secret (to those who care) that Apple has always considered themselves to be just a little bit better than the competition.

And unfortunately this mentality has been passed down to their legions of loyal followers.

Well, now their contagious attitude has gone to far, and spread to an unexpected recipient—PBS.

You heard me correctly, that’s the Public Broadcasting Services.

Formerly, a home to all weary channel surfers, and still home to everyone’s favorite all inclusive bunch, the good citizens of Sesame Street (feel the guilt, let it wash over you).

Apparently that “Downton Abbey” Emmy win went straight to their heads.

This once all inclusive station was set to debut a new Ken Burns documentary series entitled “Prohibition,” but has decided to limit the release to the iPhone and iPad.

Apple product users will have access PBS’ iOS streaming video app on Sept. 23, over a week ahead of its Oct. 2 premiere date on PBS.

All this iFree user has to say is: Are you happy now Apple? Are you? What would Big Bird say?
