Happy Thursday, followers!
I'm sorry things have been so quiet around here recently. I've been doing a fair amount of sleeping (though still not as much as I would like) and things are actually starting to pick up some at work, so I don't have hours and hours to write blog posts while I sit at my desk.
However, there are lots of thoughts churning in my head based on recent events and things that I've been reading, so you can expect some more interesting posts to come in the relatively near future.
But for today I have a few Public Service Announcements for you.
First off, you'll all remember last week when I was wrestling with finding that kick start to legitimately start my writing career and how often I am afraid of it. I got a lot of encouragement not only from you all, but also from friends, family, and Office Boy. I'm taking a bit of time to sort things out with my sister's wedding because her bridal shower is in a week and a half and my brain is going in a bajillion different directions, but once that's done, I'll be able to legitimately focus on the writing some more. Hooray.
But in the meantime, I have officially launched my website!
Yep. That's right. I now have my own website with a domain and all that pretty and fancy stuff. This is what the home page looks like (clicking on the image will take you to it):
It went through several evolutions over the months, but overall I am really pleased with how it turned out and I'm super excited that it's finally up and running. I've also created a Facebook fan page for me as a writer, so feel free to like that as well. I would love the support. :)
Secondly, I have been writing some things recently and today I'm hanging out with Emmy over at Love Woke Me Up talking about my secret place. So go check it out and leave some love!
Third and finally, you may have noticed that I did not post the Q&A with myself and Office Boy on Tuesday as promised. This is for two reasons.
One, I was tired when I got back from New York and so even though we did spend most of Monday together, the last thing I wanted to do was be productive and think critically and answer questions. So I decided to postpone the posting of the Q&A. But I also decided to postpone it for a second reason.
Mainly...we've not gotten lots of questions. The lovely Emma left us beaucoup amounts of questions (21, to be exact), but we'd certainly like more questions from the rest of you. Lots of you have been following the Saga with great interest since the beginning (or what seemed like great interest), and though some of you have joined the story more recently, you've been wonderful commenters and I always love hearing your thoughts and such. Seriously, every one of your comments means to much to me. But I would also love your questions, and I think, secretly, Office Boy does, too.
So put on your thinking caps and give us your best questions. These can be about literally anything. Do you find Office Boy's continual use of nerdy references entertaining? Have a question about a specific incident that happened that Office Boy didn't comment on? Want to know my opinion on something else? Have a question for the two of us together? Literally...anything at all. To ask us questions you may comment on this post, tweet me, comment on the facebook page, or send me an email.
Next week is going to be a bit insane because my sister will be in town so it's going to be prime time wedding planning craziness, but hopefully we'll get this Q&A post up soon after that. But we need you all to pitch in and ask some questions for it to work! So get thinking and have a fantastic Thursday!
--Sarah.
PS. Maybe one day I'll get off my lazy butt and actually make a signature like I've been planning to since forever.
