Public Transport Tales London Edition

Posted on the 07 November 2011 by Kvlog101 @KVlog101

While staying with family in chipstead near London I traveled in to London on the overground and then on the underground and here are a few observations and tales...

1 Everybody looks after number one.
2 If you get a seat, congratulations...
3 do not read over the next persons shoulder...
4 watch your pockets...

The tale
I was stood on the underground platform waiting for a train when a group of tourists from Italy are stood trying to decode the map they had and try to get any help they could find, (I have only learnt basic Italian for my trip to Rome so I could understand about 20% of what they were saying) they approached me and asked were they were on the map which I gladly showed them and then they wanted help getting there cases on the train so I helped with that, but while I was helping them all of the other people around seemed to frown upon offering help, even a group of Americans started making fun of these girls,

so being the way I an I responded back to these Americans saying<br>
'how would you like it to be left to cope on your own learn to respect people'
with this one of them started to get very angry and start shouting at me.

An announcement came across the platform about luggage and bags security and with this one American piped up 'as if anyone would put a bomb on one of these trains' the people I was with had heard this and so did 3 transport police that then led the person away a few minutes later he came back and seemed much more quiet...

So respect other people and be careful of what you say, you never know who is watching and listening...
Thanks for reading...
More tales to come...
