Playing your children like the strings on his banjo.
What’s cute, fuzzy, and trying to brainwash children?
Give up?
If you said the Muppets, then you’ve been keeping up on your current events (good for you).
In the latest round of unsubstantiated, attention-drawing statements courtesy of the Fox News Network, host Eric Bolling of “Follow the Money” accused the Muppets of brainwashing kids with an “anti-corporate message” in their latest film.
I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in.
As a product of the Muppets brainwashing techniques, I cannot objectively comment on this theory.
I have been trained to know that it is in fact NOT easy being green; pigs are excellent at karate; bears are not the best comedians (but we still love them); and if you say “mahna mahna” (or “phenomenon”) someone will chime in with “do, do, do, do.”
All of this makes it hard for me to say if the Muppets heart-warming tale of trying to save their beloved theater is actually a tale about corporate greed, and part of their grand scheme to keep the big man down.
Kind of makes you stop and think about who the real puppets are.
Maybe the Muppets are the ones pulling the strings.

…just for fun:
I admit it, this blog was all a part of my master plan to sneak in another Muppets’ video. Enjoy!-
