Put Me In A Spaceship
By Stephanie Ann Kinzel
When I die
Please don’t bury me
Just put me in a Spaceship
Set my body free
Fire that big space rocket
Fly me to the moon
Don’t cry out to God
“She’s gone on way to soon”
I’ll have a great life touring Venus and Mars
Sitting among the nurseries
Holding baby stars
Riding the Horse Head Nebula
Victory I will claim
Pick me out a planet
There this Queen will reign
I’ll build a great city
A place for all my friends
Space it where it begun
It ought to be where it ends
So,
When I die
Please don’t bury me
Just put me in a Virgin*
And, set my body free!
