Random Thoughts: Pen Names

I’ve been reading a bit about Pen Names lately and am just curious, how many of you actually use them?

I can truly see the benefits of using pen names, most importantly, to conceal your identity. 

So how does one come up with a Pen Name?

  • Is it based off of genre of the author’s work?
  • An old nickname?
  • Or your dream name?
