Even better news, it’s still early so you have plenty of time to give this whole resolution thing another go. That applies to you no-resolution people too.
The key to a successful resolution is picking something that stretches your limits while taking reality into account. For example, running three marathons this year might be a bit unattainable if you’ve never even run a 5k.
On a similar note, if you’ve recycled the same resolution for the last few years it might be time to adjust it. Maybe tweak going to the gym 5 days a week to exercise more. If you’ve failed to do “more” of anything for multiple years, well it might be time to rethink your motivation.
Of course, you don’t want to make your resolution too simple. Making it to 2019 is not a resolution, no matter how dark the world seems right now.
At the end of the day, resolutions are about improvement, whether that’s improving your health, attitude, or whatever. They’re also not set in stone (unless that’s your thing) so don’t beat yourself up if you have to change course mid-year.
The rest, fellow crusaders, is up to you. Get out there and show your 2018 resolutions what you’re made of.
…just for fun:
