Reading E.e. Cummings is Soo Good for the Heart

It was 1997, fall, 7th period class of English Literature.

The teacher, Mr B takes out a red covered book and starts reading this poem:

I had never heard it before, and I had never heard of the writer.

We were asked to guess who wrote the poem, and nobody guessed right.

But I left the class motivated to find out more about him once we were told it was mr. e. e. cummings.

I though, we have at least one initial in common. I’d like to know more of what he writes and because I really liked what I heard the first time. And that’s how my fascination with e. e. began.
