Reality TV Revelations

Teen Mom 2 should now be called, "Get a boob job, extensions, and obsess over Twitter 2".  Maybe that's too long?
Reality TV Revelations
The thing is, I love to watch this train wreck of a show. First of all, it's hilarious & sad. A beautiful combination. Second of all, I just want to hug them and tell them that it's okay. Third of all, I wish I had their paycheck. I could use a little more merchandise on the rack, if you know what I mean...But, I in no way find this show remotely relevant. Why not? Because it gives a distorted view of what being a teen mom is. A teen mom is not a celebrity, not a walking exception to staggering statistics, and not handed anything they want. There is just so much drama, I can hardly take it, but I have already committed to watching most of the season, so I might as well finish it out.
It just saddens me because I know that young girls get the wrong idea about what being a teen mom is about, and what a healthy relationship is. None of the girls have had what I would call a "healthy relationship". I think Leah and Chelsea have had the hardest time with that, and Kailyn and Jenelle are practically addicted to relationships. I wish they would have both been single so they could get over their past relationships and just focus on themselves. It seems like they want to do that, but 5 minutes later they have another boyfriend, or go back to their old ones.
It's frustrating and fascinating all at once. That's what you get for watching these darn reality shows. What'd you think of Teen Mom 2 this week?
