Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients:
2 small Cornish Hens
1 1/2 c. carrots
1 1/2 c. celery
8 c. chicken broth
1 pkg. egg noodles
3 tbsp. oregano
3 tbsp. parsley
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Directions:
Place 4 c. chicken broth, oregano, parsely, salt & pepper in slow cooker with cornish hens. Cook on high for 2 hours. Remove hens and shred with a fork. Return shredded chicken to slow cooker and add the carrots and celery. Cook on high for 1 hour.
In a large pot, prepare egg noodles according to package directions. Add remaining 4 c. of broth. Combine chicken, veggie & broth mixture from slow cooker to large pot. Simmer on low for 30 minutes to marry all ingredients. Enjoy!
