Relaxation correlates to spend according to Popai. The more relaxed a shopper is the more one

a) places value on an item, and

b) is likely to make a purchase.

Easy to understand if thought about vice versa: how likely would you be to make a purchase in a state of anxiety or agitation? Would you be thinking about which variety to choose from the assortment or how the hell to get out of there and fast.

Yes, I thought so too.
