Mindful resting on this Saturday. I haven’t checked in in a little bit. I guess time flies when one is busy. Just trying to live and maintain one day at a time. After another busy week I decided to take today nice and slow. I don’t know about you but for me knowing when to stop, slow down and keep still is the most difficult. Some days when the going is good it is so easy to forget and go overboard with life. I sometimes feel like I have to overcompensate before the good fades away. I have to remember to take one task, one moment, one day at a time. I think most of us have this problem. What are some ways in which you remind yourself to pace? Let me know in the comments.
Setting small timed and measurable goals helps me. I set a beginning and end date/time for everything I need to do. Keeping the essential at the top of the list and the least essential on the bottom. Maybe that will help you? If not do what works for you. In the meantime continue to be good to yourself and to others. Let go of the baggage of the past. Carrying it around is detrimental to your health literally. Remember you can’t give others your best when you fail to address yourself first.
