A couple of weeks ago I reviewed a bread making kit from Bake At Home and was very impressed. I was really pleased when they offered to send me one of their cookie mixes as my readers will know that I make so secret of the fact that I have an extremely sweet tooth.
Bake At Home specialise in artisan baking kits and luxury baking mixes. This Luxury Eton Mess Cookie Mix comes in a 500g glass jar and makes around 8-10 cookies. It is priced at £9.95 and I loved the way all the ingredients were layered in the jar, it looked so pretty!
Eton Mess Cookies combine Belgian white chocolate chunks, strawberry chocolate pieces and meringue. Everything you need is in the jar except for the wet ingredients, you just need to add 125g of butter and 1 egg. They were so simple and quick to make and came out perfectly.
The cookies were absolutely delicious, they were soft and buttery. and I really enjoyed the whole "Eton Mess" thing. The strawberry and white chocolates along with the meringue was such a good combination and made these far more interesting than a boring old chocolate chip cookie.
Verdict
Another fab product from Bake At Home. This kit allowed me to make fantastic and delicious cookies in minutes and best of all, with the high quality ingredients, they tasted delicious. Top marks from The Review Addict!
