Day 3 of Border Biscuits Week sees me reviewing their Dark Chocolate Gingers. Links to Days 1 and 2 are at the end of this review.
I think I have said before that I am not a huge fan of ginger, I do however like ginger biscuits and these ones from Border Biscuits are according to the box, Britain's No.1 in Chocolate Ginger Biscuits. They are made from Nigerian Ginger and have been Border's best seller for over 20 years.  Like the other packs of biscuits that I have reviewed this week, you get 10 in a box. Each biscuits is 83 calories.

When I opened the box I could smell the ginger straight away, and even more so when I snapped the biscuit which had a decent snap just like the Chocolate Chip Cookies that I reviewed on day 1. The dark chocolate covering is fairly thick and the inside is a lovely golden brown.

The ginger flavor is really good, it is not too overpowering but strong enough to give your tongue a bit of a tingle and then it is calmed by the smooth dark chocolate.
Verdict I was surprised by how much I like these biscuits, that gingery chocolate heat is very addictive, these are my favorite biscuits so far this week.
