REVIEW! Carte Noire Instinct Wholebean Instant New Stickpack

Carte Noire kindly sent me a sample of their Instinct Wholebean Instant to review. It's been out for a little while now but this Stickpack is new. I usually make my coffee in a Tassimo machine and I actually do usually buy Carte Noire T-discs but until now I haven't tried Instinct so I was keen to see how this would compare to my normal coffee.
Carte Noire Instinct is described as a unique arabica rich blend of instant coffee and finely ground milled beans. It is a blend of instant coffee, roast coffee and ground coffee.

I like the idea of the Stickpack as I could take this box to work with me and actually have some decent coffee rather than the rank stuff that comes out of the vending machine. We do have a Costa coffee and a Starbucks at work but that can get expensive. A Stickpack like this one contains 10 sticks and you can purchase it for £1.12 in Tesco at the moment. So at around 11p a cup, that is much cheaper than my Tassimo Carte Noire T-discs that are £3.79 for 16 cups (approx 24p a cup).

I drink my coffee black with 2 sugars (hardcore!) so that's how I made my Carte Noire Instinct. It smelt gorgeous and it tasted good too. It was rich and smooth and it did have a nice roasted flavor to it.
Verdict I won't be getting rid of my Tassimo machine but I will definitely take one of these Stickpacks to work with me as this is an excellent instant coffee.
