REVIEW! Danio High Protein Strained Yogurt

I was sent some vouchers from BzzAgent for these Danio yogurts as part of a BzzCampaign. They are usually priced at 85p each but Tesco had an offer for 3 for £2. They still accepted my voucher though so I made a tiny profit...my very own bit of Extreme Couponing! Is anyone else addicted to this TV show?
Anyway seeing as I am follower of Slimming World, fat free yogurts are a big part of my daily diet. I loved the sound of Danio because they are high in protein (26% of your GDA in fact) so this mean that they are going to be filling. They are made with twice as much milk as standard yogurts and strained which gives it a really thick texture. Beneath the thick yogurt is a layer of fruit and currently 6 flavours are available: strawberry, blueberry, peach, cherry, raspberry and passionfruit. Some of the flavours are low fat and others are fat free. Danio is free from artificial flavours and artificial preservatives and is also suitable for veggies. Another thing, it does not contain any aspartame unlike a lot of fat free yogurts. Calorie content ranges from 125 -157 per pot.

I really like the packaging of these yogurts, they are quite big pots at 160g and I love the pictures of the fruits on the lids making it extra easy to work out what flavor you are picking up. I purchased the cherry, passionfruit and peach flavours with my vouchers and so far passionfruit has been my favorite. I couldn't believe how thick the yogurt is, it was almost like clotted cream in texture! The fruity layer ensured that it didn't get too sickly though and added a nice bit of sweetness and I loved the seeds from the passionfruit too which were a little crunchy.
Verdict I loved Danio yogurt from Danone and will definitely be switching to these instead of my usual brand. I am awarding them the full 5 stars because I loved everything about them but the best thing is that they taste really naughty but aren't!
