REVIEW! Hotel Chocolat Billionaire's Shortbread

I am a big fan of Hotel Chocolat and I am slowly trying to work my way through their range. So far I have reviewed Dark Pistachio Pralines, Hotel Chocolat Amaretto Amour and Raisin Grazers and enjoyed all of them! Today I am reviewing these Billionaires Shortbread Pralines which really appealed to me as Billionaires Shortbread is one of my favorite treats.
The packet describes them as a generous blend of caramel, cookies and silky smooth praline and apparently they were a tasting club winner.  These chocolates look very pretty with their little pieces of shortbread cookie on the top and are a lovely little dome shape.
The chocolate is very thick and of the high quality that you would expect from Hotel Chocolat.  The caramel inside is probably some of the best caramel that I have ever tasted.  It was so rich and smooth and the hazelnut praline was even better.  The shortbread cookie was soft and buttery and it surprised me actually how nice it was. I often find that when biscuit is added to chocolate it is usually average quality, but Hotel Chocolat have thought of everything and despite it only being a little bit of shortbread as a topping, it is still really, really good.
Verdict
These are very indulgent chocolates and I absolutely loved them.  I would love a whole box of these and these alone!
