The other day these Nanobytes were sent to me to review. They are a new product which will be hitting the shelves this month. They come in 3 flavours: cola, bubblegum and strawberry and will be available in 2 different sized packs. They are gluten free, GMO free and also suitable for veggies.
Nanobytes are little tiny sweets that are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The smaller treat size pack is 25g and has a RRP of just 25p. 25p for some sweets these days is a pretty good price in my opinion! The larger 69p "space packs" like the ones that I was sent are 65g and resealable so ideal for sharing.
Cola Nanobytes
I imagine that the space themed packaging would really appeal to kids and as a big kid myself I thought that the design was pretty cool, the little sweets look like asteroids or meteors, I am never sure of the difference but you know what I mean. The cola Nanobytes are brown in color and I was surprised at how much like a cola drink they tasted. Not a cheap nasty cola either, I mean the good stuff!
The strawberry ones which are the darker pink, were a lovely strong flavor which lasted ages. The bubblegum flavor was also good and tasted of...erm...bubblegum. They were sweet and fruity!
I enjoyed the texture of Nanobytes, they are very chewy so they last quite a while and they are pretty addictive to be honest.
Verdict
All 3 flavours were good but the cola ones were probably my favorite. You can find out more about Nanobytes at www.lotsoflittlesweets.com which also features downloads, videos and competitions. You can also check out the Nanobytes Facebook Page or follow them on Twitter
