REVIEW! Pringles - Limited Edition Sweet Cinnamon and Mint Choc Flavours

I was mega surprised to find these 2 limited edition Pringles flavours in Sainsbury's this evening. I was looking for Cheesy Footballs which is a favorite of mine at this time of year, and there, in the seasonal aisle, on the bottom shelf of all places were Sweet Cinnamon and Mint Choc tubs of Pringles! I can tell you that those Cheesy Footballs were soon discarded!
Maybe it's something about being a food review blogger that made me squeal with excitement but I literally forgot about the rest of my shopping and headed straight to the tills so I could get them home to try. My family's reaction has not been quite matched my own, in fact some views have been that of disgust and no one seems particularly keen to try them! Seriously, what is wrong with these people?! Crazy Pringles flavours!!! Hello?!!

Pringles are currently on offer in Sainsbury's at 2 tubs for £3.50 and that included both of these flavours which contain 153 calories per 30g serving.
I tried Sweet Cinnamon first which smelt really Christmassy and I could see the dusting of cinnamon and sugar sparkling in the light. They tasted sweet and salty at the same time and the cinnamon adds a really nice festive flavor. I preferred this seasonal offering over the Pigs In Blanket Flavour that I reviewed last year.
The Mint Choc flavor didn't really smell of anything special and they certainly didn't look any different to normal Pringles. The taste is less chocolatey and more pepperminty. It's weird, the chocolate is there but the mint is way stronger and they are still salty as you would expect from a Pringle. I am still not sure about this flavor but I still found myself struggling to put the tub down. I don't know if that is because I was enjoying them or whether I was just trying to work out what on earth was going on.
Verdict
Definitely the weirdest crisps I have ever tried. I loved the Sweet Cinnamon Pringles and will be going back for more so full marks for those. As for the Mint Choc flavour, I don't think I will be buying them again but they are just so strange that I think I loved them.
