Review: Purflo Breathable Nest
We were delighted to have recently been named as Purflo's Blogger Of The Year and as part of that role, we will be bringing you the scoop on some of the brands innovative & high-quality collection of products...starting with the Breathable Nest!
The Breathable Nest is an ideal naptime nest suited for babies from birth, and is comprised of a breathable 3D multi-layer mesh base and Pur-Air Breathable Padded Bumpers.
Because the filling in the bumpers is anti-bacterial and hypo-allergenic as well as being naturally breathable it exposure to dust mites and other nasties which can aggravate conditions such as asthma or eczema.
The cover is machine-washable at 40 degrees and you can buy alternate covers to allow you to have one in the wash and one on the nest simultaneously which is handy for babies with reflux.

As well as being the perfect sleep solution for naptimes on the go, an ideal crib or cot insert or a great little changing station you can also use the Nest as somewhere for baby to lounge and it's perfect for tummy time too!
We often use it for tummy time with Noah and he loves it when in his nest, although he's never as much of a fan without it - I think he finds the comfy bumper support useful at this stage and loves the chance to look around and explore from a different position.

Noah has been sleeping regularly in the Purflo Breathable Nest for the last 4 weeks as a crib insert and he sleeps so well in it - he still currently sleeps in our room and I like to sleep with a fan on, I think the bumpers protect him from the breeze perfectly and he sleeps soundly all night long and seems to be super comfortable.
As you can see from the below photo, he is a very happy boy whether sleeping or lounging in the nest!

PurAir Nest's are 580mm wide and 950mm long with a sleep area of 280mm wide and 640mm long...Noah is now 5 months old and still has some room left within it so I'd say these would last anywhere from birth to between 4-6 months old depending on your babies growth. They are available in a choice of 2 colours - Mushroom polka dot or Moss green polka dot.
