As part of our role as Purflo's Blogger Of The Year we have been road testing some of the brand's best selling products - previously we have reviewed their fabulous Breathable Nest and Shleepy comforter - today we're reviewing what is probably our favorite Purflo item so far...the Sleepsac!
I have used sleeping bags for the children ever since Tyne was born - they're highly recommended as the safest alternative to using loose sheets/blankets for babies as they remove the risk of baby pulling them over their heads during the night.
While I've always been really happy with the sleeping bags we've used, I have often said how inconvenient it is that so few of them are available with sleeves for colder nights as I often felt that their little arms needed covering up...so I was delighted to see that the Sleepsac not only have sleeves but that they are also detachable, meaning you can easily remove them if you feel baby is too warm!
The smaller sizes (0-3 months and 3-9 months) also have scratch mitts integrated which is another thing I haven't come across with other brands - as Noah is now in the 9-18 month size these aren't included.
Review: Purflo Sleepsac
The 100% Bamboo Dream lining is super soft and comfortable for baby, and the hypoallergenic Amicor Pure filling prevents the build up of bacteria and dispels dust mites which are linked to asthma and eczema.
The sleepsacs are available in either 1.0 tog for warmer months, or 2.5 tog for the colder ones - we are using the 2.5 tog and Noah seems comfier than ever before!!
