REVIEW! Tango Apple Chewy Bonbons

Posted on the 02 June 2013 by Thereviewaddict @TheReviewAddict

I purchased these ages ago but they have been sat in the "stuff to review box" and to be honest I had forgotten all about them (it's a big box) until I saw Kev's Snack Reviews review of Tango Blue Balls the other day. I can't remember how much these cost me but I found them at Long Acres garden center in Bagshot which is where I find a lot of my goodies.
They are described as apple flavor chewy bonbons and they say "do not puncture" on the front which I found a little odd, I think I have missed the joke! One sweet apparently contains 15 calories and there are no artificial colours.

When I purchased these I was expecting the sort of bonbon with the toffee in the middle but these are the same green stuff throughout but they are indeed VERY chewy.
The apple flavor is a bit disappointing. I was expecting sour apple but it's quite mild and doesn't have any sort of kick to it at all which is a shame as I love sour flavours, especially apple.
Verdict Very boring sweets to be honest, much like the Tango Demolition Balls that I reviewed a while ago. Apple Tango is an awesome drink and these sweets could have been so much better.
