REVIEW! Tesco Finest Goats' Cheese and Caramelised Red Onion Flatbread

I spotted this Tesco Finest Goat's Cheese and Caramelised Red Onion Flatbread in my local store the other day. I thought that it looked beautiful and I was excited to learn that I could eat the whole thing to myself for just 485 calories! It costs £3.85 and I purchased this to review using vouchers sent to me by Tesco.
The flatbread looks a lot like a pizza but the base is made from a tortilla which is then topped with loads of caramelised red onion, marinated SunBlush® Red Baby Tomatoes, baby spinach and goats' cheese.

To heat the flatbread you just remove the cardboard sleeve and film lid and put the plastic tray in the microwave for around 9 minutes.
It looked just as delicious when it came out and the goats' cheese had melted slightly but not too much which is how I like it.  If I see this sort of thing on the menu at a restaurant then I will always go for it because I just love goats' cheese and onion combinations. The tomatoes were full of flavor and it was a real taste of the Mediterranean. The plastic tray was lined with some shiny cardboard, presumably to aid the cooking process and I was pleased at how the tortilla held it's shape and remained nice and crispy.
VerdictA great idea for a meal in a hurry and a healthier alternative to pizza! I loved the Mediterranean flavours but I also can't wait to try the Mexican Chicken version!
