Tesco Finest Triple Cooked Chips are another addition to the Tesco Finest Range. They are part of the A La Carte £20 Menu or on their own they cost £3. I was sent vouchers from Tesco so that I was able to purchase these chips to review.
The 400g tray serves 2 with a serving containing 340 calories. The chips are gently fried twice and then basted in goose fat. You cook them the 3rd time by placing them in the oven for around 30 minutes or longer if cooking from frozen.
The result is beautifully crispy chips with a lovely fluffy inside. Seriously, these chips are amazing! They are better than the triple cooked chips from my local pub which were previously my favorite and it is easy to see why there were shortlisted in the Quality Food Awards 2013
Verdict
I have already purchased Tesco Finest Triple Cooked Chips twice as they went down so well the first time. They are a real treat and it's brilliant that you can have perfect chips at home so easily without having to triple cook them yourself!
