REVIEW! Volvic Touch of Coco Pineapple

After seeing a review of this product on Grocery Gems I immediately set about finding Volvic Touch of Coco Pineapple and guess what? Londis came up trumps yet again!
Anything involving coconut (except coconut water...rank!) is always something that I am going to be interested in and I am a big pineapple fan too so this Brazil inspired flavoured water sounded delicious. I am assuming that the whole "Brazil inspired" thing is to do with the World Cup and this is a Special Edition so I also assume that this means it will only be around for a limited time.
This is a 50cl bottle but it does also apparently comes in 1.5litre bottles. The 50cl bottle contains 2 servings which are 52 calories each. I'm not sure why they give you the bottle volume in cl and then the nutrition in ml. I know it's easy to work out but it just seems a bit strange and I must admit things like that niggle me a bit but it's a minor thing so won't affect my rating.
Anyway the flavor of this water is so refreshing and instantly had me wishing for summer. I drink a lot of squash normally as I am not a huge fan of plain water and this will make a very nice alternative. It is pretty sweet and does contain sugar but doesn't appear to have any artificial sweeteners which is a good thing. I don't kid myself that flavoured water is as good for you as the pure stuff but I have to be honest and say that I would much rather drink this and coconut is not a flavor we see too often in drinks so it's good to see something a bit different.
Verdict
I am going to sit and drink this at work and imagine myself sat on a beach somewhere. Even the smell cheered me up and after I had finished the bottle I kept going back and sniffing it!
