This is the 3rd popcorn that I am reviewing from Cheshire based Whiteys, check out my reviews of Cocoa Original flavour and Maple Corn flavour.
Like the other flavours, Cinnamon Sweet comes in a big 100g bag and is made with all natural ingredients. You can purchase 4 bags for £13 from Whitey's online shop or check the list of stockists online.
Cinnamon is a bit of a funny for one me, if the taste is subtle then I really like it but if it is too strong I can't stand the stuff. The packet describes this popcorn as a little bit sweet and a little bit spicy and I have to admit I was wary as spicy made me think that this stuff was going to quite cinnamony. I was really hoping that this popcorn wouldn't be too overpowering and when I opened the bag, the signs were good as it smelt sweet and the cinnamon smell was not overly strong.
The popcorn looked a lovely brown color from the dusting of the cinnamon and it was pretty evenly coated throughout the whole bag.
Well it turns out that I need not have worried because this popcorn was very nice! Like the other flavours it was both sweet and salty at the same time and the cinnamon gave it a nice kick which made it a really interesting combination.
Verdict Although cinnamon is not a flavor that I would have chosen for myself, I am so glad that Whiteys sent me a bag of their Cinnamon Sweet popcorn because it was delicious. The taste made me think of Christmas as cinnamon is something that I associate with that time of year and yet again Mr Review Addict and I polished off the whole bag very quickly...this is addictive stuff!
