Richmond Hill...

Terrace Field, Richmond Hill...

Welcome to a rather special beautiful set of bollards I found at the weekend just off Richmond Hill at Terrace Field.
Let us take a closer look at the white octagonal shaped based bollard in the photograph (above/below). Once the base has risen we come to a small tubed shape ridge immediately topped with a tapering indented (concave) column that is finished off with pretty decorative acorn top.

To the Left...

Protruding from the top we can see a hand/guide rail (above/top) which gently directs us down a path/stairs into Richmond Terrace where we have stunning views of London and the narrowing necks/bends of the river Thames.

New York City Bollards...

The #guestbollards (above) just happen to be from across the pond in good old New York City (new Mayor bye, bye Bloomberg). The beautiful photograph was taken by a pretty special lady/runner/jogger by the name of @Clauderella on the Twitter/Vine, creative is her middle name.
These bollards are very dandy/ornate with a simple solid square base which quickly morphs into a circular ridged tapering indented column that is finally topped off with a cannon ball finish.
