Over the half term, we were kindly invited to visit Roarr Dinosaur Adventure Park in Norfolk. They were having a fantasy-themed week and as we know the park is so well loved, we couldn't turn down an opportunity to visit.
Once we arrived the children immediately began to get excited. The entrance is super impressive and they just couldn't wait to get inside. The park itself is really quite spectacular, with 85 acres to explore. The children wanted to start the explorers adventure strait away and we thought it would be a good way to see the whole park. Due to the time of year, Predator! High Ropes and Dippy's Splash Zone were not open - but this really did not impact our day at all.
We made our way along the Dinsoaur trail, collecting stamps (which they LOVED, such a simple idea but keeps them so engaged) and learning lots along the way. Even I learnt a fair few different types of species that I'd never heard of before.
Along the trail, we took time out to head to the secret animal garden where Henry got to see his beloved guinea pigs! That boy absolutely adores them and is desperate to have his very own one day (called Rosa!), so it was a really lovely surprise and treat to get up close to them. This part of the park is great for taking a picnic and slowing down from the action-packed play areas.
After this, the children experienced just what it was like to unearth these amazing creatures in the X-tinction zone. They loved this part and it was nice to soak up the sun and watch them learn through play.
After collecting their medals once they'd completed the trail, the kids still had plenty of energy left to burn so we headed straight to the indoor play area. This was perfect for all ages and they had so much fun playing together. There was also plenty of chair's for parents, so Jamie and I took the opportunity to grab a coffee.
We would highly recommend this to families with all age groups, we can't wait to head back soon!
