When you load the app, press the red arrow to begin. A screen then appears with the picture of an object and the letters which spell it. You have to arrange the letters in the correct order. Each time you spell three words in a row you can select a piece of the rocket. There are twelve words in total to spell. Once you have collected all three pieces of the rocket, the alien appears and the rocket is assembled. You then press a button to start the countdown and launch the rocket which flies through the sky collecting stars. As you progress through the levels the game gets harder, the levels are as follows:
Level 1 - Place letters in any order with letter hints given.
Level 2 - Must place letters in order with letter hints given.
Level 3 - Simple words, must place letters in order with no hints given.
Level 4 - Complex words, must place letters in order with no hints given.

Ben loves anything with rockets and space so it is no surprise that he likes this app. The game is well structured with three words to spell followed by a reward until all twelve words are complete and the rocket pieces collected. This keeps it engaging and entertaining. I was also pleased to see that each time we played the words were different which helps expand a child's vocabulary, there are in fact over one hundred and thirty words. Similarly, there are hundreds of rocket combinations which kids will love choosing from. This is a great app for introducing kids to word building and developing an awareness of how letters combine together to build words. One thing to note is that it is US English which I personally don't find a problem as the concept of word building is exactly the same.Press the button to launch the rocket
