Rockland Maine Wedding | Casey & Joe

Posted on the 05 September 2020 by Cjgphoto

I had the privilege of taking part in Casey and Joes wedding near Rockland, Maine. Being a Rockland Maine wedding photographer I get to see the best parts of Maine and share them with all my clients. The best part about this wedding was the rolling blueberry fields and the amazing sunset. As a wedding photographer I LOVE blueberry fields and sunsets!

Casey and Joe

Casey and Joe were to marry on the top of a private beautiful blueberry field near Rockland, Maine. As a Rockland Maine wedding photographer I could not have been more excited. However, with all amazingly planned weddings something always changes. This wedding was one of the most adventurous weddings I documented to date. Casey and Joe started their new life on family land that meant a lot to their family members.

When deciding where you will get married you seek something that is meaningful to you. Being able to see this amazing family and all their accomplishments with this land, and getting to see them unit as one was an amazing experience for us all.

Rockland Maine Wedding Photographer-Rain Style

This day was adventurous and a lot of rain. Good news, we all made it under the tent before the torrential downpour but let me tell you it made for quite the experience. People were holding polls in an attempt to keep the tent in place, people laughing, running, and getting soaking wet. Meanwhile the bride and groom and I were out trying to take cover under the tent after taking pictures in the rain.

Do you want to know the best part about having a wedding in the rain? The rainbows, when the rainbows come out after the rain not only does it make for great pictures but it spreads the feeling of love and hope for the future. It is something to cherish and live in the moment, and that is precisely what we all did.

So the next time you begin to think rain is a bad thing, wait for the rainbow. 🙂

XOXO,

Catherine
