I love Nikkiana, she is an incredible reader. She has the most thoughtful comments and is always able to express her opinions. I love hearing them, because she and I are very different, so whenever she tells me something it's from a new perspective. I love new perspectives.
I asked a few questions, that I knew would be interesting coming from her. Without further adieu....
What is your favorite photo of yourself and why?

I don't actually have a lot of photographs of me because I'm usually the one behind the camera, but this one immediately came to mind. It was taken at the goodbye party that was thrown for me several jobs ago, and I just love how silly it is.
If money was no object, what are the top 5 things you'd buy?
1. A house in Vermont.2. An apartment in New York City.3. A car.4. A new computer.5. A new camera.
That was way harder than it should have been.
What do you admire about someone else's personality that you wish you had in your personality?
I really admire people who are able to keep calm no matter what you throw at them. As a person who struggles a lot with anxiety and who sometimes struggles to keep it together when you throw something unexpected or unsettling at me, I wish I could just be zen about everything all the time.
Who is your role model (outside of your family)? Why do they inspire you?
I have so many people in my life that I look up to. In particular, I look up to my friend and coworker, Suzi. She's such a kind and helpful person. She's always there if something's going wrong in your life, or you need help solving a problem.
Have you ever had an argument that you knew you were wrong but kept arguing?
Oh yeah. Big time guilty of this.
It's usually the worst when it comes to criticism... Even constructive criticism!
If someone finds something wrong with what I'm doing and tells me, I get all defensive and upset and argumentative rather than accepting it gracefully.
Do you daydream of living somewhere other than where you are now?
I love living in New York City, and while I can't picture myself moving away from here entirely, I would love to be able to have a place in Vermont where I could summer. City living is amazing, but sometimes you just miss trees.
What's one thing about you that is shocking or unexpected?
A lot of people are a little shocked to find out that I've been a burlesque dancer. It's been over a year since I actively danced, but I'm considering going back to it.... It's a lot of fun!
