Row Row Row Your Boat

Where does the weekend go... sorry where does the bank holiday weekend go?!  I tend to find I get cocky about my bank holiday weekends, I always think I have all the time in the world to do exactly as I wish but Monday night always creeps up on me rather swift. I've had a rare bank holiday Monday off with my beautiful boyfriend, so we decided to head out and have some adventures.  We always yap on to each other how much we want to do this, and that but never get round to doing anything...so we ceased the day and off we went.... starting off on our bikes.

Row Row Row Your Boat   I decided to wear my Topshop Leigh jeans, Topshop bicycle jumper, Jack Wills gilet, and my fabulous Ruby & Ed bluebell lace ups.  I did pack a spare pair of leggings as wet jeans are never a comfortable experience and the weather was a touch iffy (I'm pleased I had them!)  We used the cycle paths in our local area to get to a nearby village.  I do cycle on roads but I prefer using the paths if there are them, it does tend to be safer and I can usually chat to whoever I'm with. We ddecided whilst the weather was behaving itself we'd go boating! Yes, I did say it.. boating!   Row Row Row Your BoatRow Row Row Your Boat Row Row Row Your Boat Row Row Row Your BoatMy boyfriend & I went in a Canadian canoe from Barrow Boating.  There were many other boats for hire and its certainly a fabulous idea especially over the summer.  This company even run river trips - ideal for birthdays, I'd suggest best taken over the summer too!

Row Row Row Your Boat  I'd love to tell you the weather held out for us, but of course after paddling for about 40 minutes the heavens opened!  We were prepared for it, so it wasn't such a pain... however we decided not to continue to sit out in it so made our way back.  We paddled back, then cycled over into our town ready for some well needed food.  We picked up our Northern monkey friend who had recently run the London Marathon, he  joined us for some lunch at the amazing Orange Tree

It had been a lovely day so far (obviously minus the rain!) and we had more fun to look forward to at my parents house for family fun and some of my Mummy's gorgeous roast din dins.  Isn't it always the way that no matter what, your Mum's roast dinners always taste better each time?! I love my Mum so much... and her amazing cooking!

Row Row Row Your Boat  How yummy does this look?! My Mum always makes an effort, even when she claims she doesn't! I'm totally spoilt by her! :o)
Row Row Row Your Boat When I arrived I immediately spied the arm candy on my sisters shoulder.  She had bought the Next made with love Coral Croc handbag for £28.00.  It's even more beautiful in person than on the website - Trust me!  The color is radiant and perfect for the sunny months!
So there we have it, an Annie Bean bank holiday Monday.  It was very well spent, and much enjoyed spending with all those I love dearly.  I'm just so not wanting to work tomorrow probably like the rest of you! Boo! :o)
