Rumor Mill

Rumors can be academic currency, and here I'm playing with that idea at a party of anthropology graduate students in my completed screenplay.  This line of dialogue, as spoken by a graduate student, is submitted as a Trifecta Writing Challenge.  I'm really enjoying the snippets of creative writing as breaks from transcribing interviews of my dissertation data.
"I heard he actually has a tattoo that one of his informants gave him and that he likes to dance around wearing nothing but a gourd at conference parties.  Talk about going native!"
