SafeToSleep: Best Baby Monitor Out There

SafeToSleep: Best Baby Monitor Out ThereA few months ago, I shared SafeToSleep with all of you. I was so excited to have it as our baby monitor and I knew that it would bring me peace of mind once we brought Rilynn home.
The first day home with a newborn is scary - I was so exhausted from barely sleeping in the hospital, that all I wanted to do once we got to our house was take a nap. We placed Rilynn in her bassinet, on the SafeToSleep mat, and I fell asleep the second my head hit the pillow. About 15 minutes later, our iPhones started going off, alerting us that Rilynn wasn't breathing like she should be. We ran to her bassinet and realized that she was choking and was spitting up. Rilynn had reflux and we hadn't known this until that moment. I am so grateful that we had SafeToSleep and that it alerted us when her breathing had slowed down.

A lot of baby monitors can detect movement, so they know and alert you if your child stops breathing. Sadly, if the alarm doesn't go off until it recognizes a complete lack of breath, it may be too late. SafeToSleep is the only baby monitor in the world that can monitor the breath wave, activity, sound, and movement of your baby. It will alert you when your baby starts breathing at a slower pace, so you can get to your baby before they completely stop breathing.

In the weeks and months that followed, I have been so impressed by our SafeToSleep. I love that it connects to your smartphone or tablet. No matter where I am in the house, I can monitor Rilynn while she sleeps. I also have really liked that I can track her sleeping habits over a 30 day period. It's let me notice any issues she may be having and when she is most likely to wake up. If you still want to "see" your baby, all you need to do is buy an inexpensive wireless camera. We purchased ours on Amazon.

Setting up the SafeToSleep system really does take 5 minutes. You place the SleepMat in your child's crib or bassinet and switch it on. Just download the SafeToSleep app and sync your smartphone or tablet to the SleepMat and you are ready to go.

Your baby just sleeps on the SleepMat, which has a waterproof cover over it. This was so nice because when Rilynn would spit up, I just removed the cover and washed it.

They also give you a Parent Unit, which you can use instead of your phone or tablet. This is great in case you leave your baby with a grandparent or babysitter that doesn't have a smartphone or doesn't want to download the app on their phone.

Like I said above, I like being able to see exactly how fast or slow Rilynn is breathing and I also like being able to track her sleep habits over a 30 day period.SafeToSleep: Best Baby Monitor Out There

SafeToSleep is, in my opinion, the best baby monitor out there. It has given me such a peace of mind and also potentially saved Rilynn's life on more than one occasion. If you are in need of a baby monitor, SafeToSleep would like to give you $100 off their sleep monitor bundle from now until 12/20.

All you have to do is head to their online store, here, and use the code Wifessionals. You click "shop" at the top of the screen and type in the code where you see "discount code" and click "apply coupon".

A big thank you to SafeToSleep! I cannot say enough good things about this company and their products.
