- So I’ve been away for a week or so, and that’s because I’ve been tanning myself up in Spain! In 18 years of my life I’ve never traveled by plane, so this was a particularly exciting experience for me. I absolutely loved flying. The airport was a bit daunting, and the security makes the most innocent person alive feel like they’ve committed a crime, but once past that everything was pretty fab. Naturally I was nervous, but after taking off I realised it was more fun than anything. Most people say that taking off and landing is good, everything in between is boring, however as a reader, I was quite happy to seat in my seat and enjoy the journey – perhaps a different story if I was on an 8 hour flight. ANYWAY, myself and 5 other wonderful members of my family went on a sun filled holiday to celebrate my beautiful aunties 50th birthday, and did she celebrate in style? – oh yes she did!
