The second anniversary of the Dead Good Blog, and collectively with the Lancashire Dead Good Poets we’ve achieved a lot already. Books published, events attended, award won, friends made, brilliant work shared. I’ve not been here since the beginning, I still feel new, but being part of this group is one of my biggest personal achievements and I’m really chuffed to write with you all. The technology part still gets the better of me (as it always has; I’ve been trying to coax my kindle into doing its job all day along with irritable calls to Amazon, but alas it seems to be dead) and getting up to read still makes me feel like the floors going to drop from beneath me, but I still love this as much as when I first began.
The very different styles of writing on here are brilliant; each and every blog is entertaining. Poetry and writing is something I always remember doing, but this is the first group I’ve ever been a part of and it’s been a hell of an experience and I’d like to see many more anniversaries.
