Rilynn adopted a full on witching hour this past week - actually hours. From about 7-11 she is a nightmare. She cries and cries and cries. It conveniently always starts when we are trying to eat dinner. No matter what we do, she doesn't stop until she passes out sometime between 11-12. I really cannot complain though because she is really low maintenance the rest of the day and at night sleeps 5-6 hours straight.
She also has started pooping only once per day. Ryan and I joke that we wish she would still go a little bit here and there because now when she poops, it is a total explosion.
She is barely fitting in her 3 month clothing and is now comfy in 3-6 months instead. A big thing she does now is "talk" and laugh a lot. (i.e., see the picture above) It is so fun to see her personality start to shine. Her hair is starting to come in thicker up top, slowly making her baby mullet go away. Ryan thinks she weighs 15 pounds by now, but I doubt that. She probably is getting close though.
I can't believe she will be two months old next week! Breastfeeding still hurts here and there, but it is getting better. We are looking forward to the upcoming holidays and hopefully seeing some of our family.
Rilynn is now in cloth full time, except for at night. I may try that out sometime soon, but for now I am proud that we use them during the day and out of the house. I started the cloth diaper series this week! If you want to catch up, click here.
Over the coming weeks I will address exactly how this has worked out for us and answer any questions you guys have had.
So what else were we up to this week?
