In Celebration of Women’s month, Shiseido, one of my most favorite brands, a global brand (from Japan, I love anything Japanese), is holding its 2nd International Beauty Fair for 2015 to encourage women to empower ourselves through beauty.
They will be in 3 premiere malls for the whole month of March (see schedule at the end of the post).

Now it’s easier to find out what skincare products will work for you based on your skin concerns through this app. You just need to input your skin concerns like dryness, broken capillaries, wrinkles, etc., then it will suggest products that you can try to solve your skin problems.
They also have this amazing! Beauty Simulator. It allows you to see your chosen makeup look using the new collection from Shiseido without the need to remove your makeup! Definitely hassle-free if you don’t want to remove your makeup!

If you really wanted to test the makeups yourself, they have highly-trained makeup artists (they had training in Japan!) to do your makeover. You gotta test the new products and know what works best for you. They can also recommend you the products that will suit your facial features and skin tone.

I enjoyed and learned a lot from the makeup and skincare workshop held by the two highly-trained beauty consultant and chief makeup artist, Ms. Naka Maeda who flew all the way from Osaka, Japan, and Ms. Carmel Villongco. They shared secrets on how we can achieve flawless and glowing skin using the right Shiseido skincare products. They also taught us how to do properly clean our face, apply / layer skincare, and makeup techniques (the Japanese way).

Ms. Carmel shared with us her most favorite products from Shiseido and I got almost all of them!
Shiseido Veiled Rouge Lipstick – P1,350.00

I got two shades, RS 312 and RS 210. One is a plum shade and the latter is a nice subtle pink color.
Shiseido Perfecting Stick Concealer - P1,350.00

I got Shade No. 33. It’s a nice peachy shade, great for under the eyes and dark spots.

I love primers! They help to make our makeup stay and last longer. It also acts like a barrier of your skin and makeup.

I have combination to oily skin and sometimes acidic, which means the sebum plays a big role that’s why my makeup looks darker after a few hours. It’s the sebum that’s responsible for discoloration of our makeup, not the skin itself. Our skin doesn’t change color unless we get tanned or use whitening products, finally the acidic issue is clear to me now. Been using this for days now and I’m very happy with the effect.

This is my new gym buddy! If we’re friends on Instagram (I’m @genzelkisses yuhu!), I posted a photo of this together with a lip balm. I don’t wear makeup to the gym, just sunblock and lip balm for protection and so far loving this! I just don’t know how I can test the enhancing UV protection when I perspire. It also has skincare properties, great for everyday use!
