What at first was a sore throat has grown into a big yuk flu thing. Im feeling pretty damn rough.
Apparently the saying ‘sick as a parrot’ derives from the age of pirates. They would eat the rotting fruit aboard the ship, sometimes they’d become sick, even die-im not dramatising my flu to that point don’t worry! but i like to know the origins of the crazy things we say
