I shared earlier this week that recently I have been on the hunt for safe products to use during pregnancy.
I also have an undying love for Etsy shop owners. Ellie is one such owner. She has a shop, Simple & Pure, that offers a delicious array of handmade bath and body products. They are high quality and do not use any parabens - yay!
Something I particularly love about her shop is that all of her items come ready to gift. The soaps, for example, are packaged like you see to the left. The wrapping is very attractive, clean and professional.
I was lucky enough to try out a few of her products and I can say, I love them! There is always a fine line between yummy and sickenly sweet when it comes to body products. I don't want to smell like a 13 year old while walking around after my shower. I found that the scents I tried were refreshing and delightful. She sent me two soaps like the one you see above. I was able to try the Pink Tutu & Passion Fruit. I LOVED the Pink Tutu. They are hand made glycerin soaps.
The next thing I was so happy to receive was two different sugar scrubs. The scents I got were Caramel Apple and Tropical Cupcake. She sells her sugar scrubs in both a regular and travel size. I always complain about my dry skin in Colorado, so I try to use a sugar scrub at least once a week. I liked the scents, both were great. I also liked the amount of "grit" in the scrub. I can't stand when my skin doesn't feel baby smooth after using a product like this.
Lastly, I was able to try some of her body lotion. This lotion was so silky and thick that it made my skin incredible moisturized. I received it in Passion Fruit, which I know will be a good scent for the summer.
I am so happy that I found Ellie and her shop. She is wonderful to work with and creates awesome products that I can use while pregnant. I also love that her items would make great gifts to friends and family. I would love for you to go check her shop out!
