Most of us take pride in the interior aspect of our homes, investing hours in rearranging, remodelling and decorating to create a relaxing environment that’s exiting to come home to. Unless you want to trip and spill your dinner, installing series of lights is a wise investment. This may seem a bit over the top, but lighting can really make or break an outdoor space. If you’ve gone for fluorescents, you’re going to feel like you’re constantly under interrogation, and if you’ve placed candles sparingly around the garden, the chances of face planting the ground are highly likely. There’s a plethora of garden lightening to choose from that doesn’t cost an arm and leg including fairy lights and lanterns to create a magical feel, or garden spot lights to foster a cool pattern on your wall.Keep Warm with a Fire Pit
I’m not sure if you are aware, but fires are sooo hot right now… In a keeping you warm kind of way. Duh. Dad jokes aside, a fire pit is the perfect idea to creating an attractive centrepiece in your main relaxing area. You can melt marshmallows with the kids on the fire, create a homely atmosphere for night-time entertaining, or you can unwind after work with a glass of wine while watching the flames flicker. Every home has a number of doorways, so why not create one for your outdoor room? If you have an open front patio or porch and want to create a sense of privacy, line the edges with a row of potted palms, tall grasses and hanging baskets.
