I had such an amazing 3 days in Singapore from 31st May till 2nd June! It’s a short 3 days but it was well spent! I gotta split my “Sing A Pore” post into part 1 and part 2 cause there is just too many pictures! From a 3 digit value, I manage to cut down the pictures to a 2 digit value. Haha.
Filled up my embarkation form the day before I travel. Unlocking Singlish and kiasuness. LOL. 31st May – After dinner, Jon the Bro dropped me of at Tiff the Big Sis’ house and from there, Ryu the BIL’s parents sent us (Tiff, Ryu and I) to KL Central to catch the 11.30 pm train! I wore a tank top and a loose knitted pullover all set for a cold journey at night but omg! KL Central is just so hot! I think the last time I was in KL Central was during 2011, I had a school trip to Singapore with a bunch of school people! Haha.
Tiff the Big Sis and Ryu the BIL both bought the train tickets for bunk beds. I bought the Premium Single Seat one for RM 68 (one way) cause there were no more bunk bed tickets ☹ Anyway, I liked my seat!
Me in my seat! Tiff the Big Sis came all the way to my coach to take this pic! Haha. Thanks ツ The seat was really comfortable! During the journey, it got really really really cold! I had to sit on my hands to keep them from freezing. LOL
Even brought along my Stitch neck pillow and Leessang cap! ツ Can sleep like an oink! LOL
Oh and I guess for Premium seat passengers, we get a bottle of mineral water and banana cake. Tiff the Big Sis and Ryu the BIL at the bunk bed section didn’t get any.
We were scheduled to arrive Woodland, Singapore at 6.35 am but somehow the train got delayed and we only reached Woodlands at 9 am?! Sighs. But anyway, after roughly 10 hours in the train, we finally made it to Singapore, a country that I have missed! I have relatives in Singapore – father’s side and mother’s side. We are closer to our father’s side cause that relative is my father’s sister – Aunty Mary a.k.a Di Kor. On the other hand, the relatives on my mom’s side are also a bunch of fun people, but we aren’t that close and I have no idea how we are related. Haha.
Stepping on Singapore’s land, everything seems so different! I wish Malaysia was at least 50% of Singapore. Haha. You can see the difference even at the immigration. The Singaporeans who work at the immigration serves with a smile while Malaysian immigration officers always have that I-want-to-go-home facial expression. If you get a Malaysian immigration officer who serves you with a smile, you’re lucky!
Upon arriving in Singapore, we hopped on a cab and headed to Di Kor’s house located at Tai Hwan Crescent. Singapore’s cab are so nice and clean and comfortable! It’s like sitting in my mom’s boss’ car. Haha. A ride in the cab made me feel guilty for not taking the effort the clean the car I drive regularly.
Even though I haven’t been to Di Kor’s house in years, I easily ran towards the correct house when we reached the housing area!
My first meal in Singapore – Mee Pok (if that’s what you call it. Haha) My parents (who arrived at Singapore the day before) ta pao-ed for us! To be honest, I don’t really like Mee Pok. Haha. I’m not used to the taste but my dad and Jon the Bro loves it! I love the way they ‘take-away’ food! So eco-friendly ツ
After our brunch, we took a quick shower and headed of to Sentosa! Yup! We went to Universal Studios Singapore ツ Oh, I also got myself an ezylink card.
An ezylink card works like a touch ‘n’ go, everyone can own one with just SGD 7 for the card and SGD 5 for the credit. Can use it on buses, MRTs etc. Sighs. So efficient. Malaysia bila?

So pretty! OMG. This trip to USS, I went with Tiff the Big Sis, Ryu the BIL, Mel the Lil Sis and Dannel the Sg Cousin.
I bought the SGD 88 6 months student pass which expires on 30th November 2013. I wanted to wear my Leessang cap when they took my picture but that woman didn’t let me. Hmph. But they let Tiff the Big Sis and Ryu the BIL wear their caps. Unfair bastard. Anyways, at least I look decent in the photo on the card. Haha.
Before we went in USS itself, we already bought some food at a shopping mall. This is my 豆花 a.k.a Soya Beancurd Singapore style. Super duper yummy leh! I hooked my plastic bag of food on my bag and after taking pictures and all, my beancurd became all smashed up. Haha. I didn’t use the spoon at all, just drank it straight from the bowl. LOL
My 떡볶이 a.k.a ddeokbokki ツ After getting our student passes done. We sat on the bench, gobbled down our food (so that we don’t have to keep carrying it) before setting of for a fun day in USS!
Haven’t walk inside for 100 m then I met my best friend leh! Haha. #macamyes
Next we met Betty Boop! This lady carries her character really well! *thumbs up*
A little comic I made of Dannel the Sg Cousin and Betty Boop. It’s just for laughs. Haha. But what actually happened was the total opposite of what you read above. LOL. All Dannel wanted was to get away from her but she keeps calling to him.

This was the Revenge of the Mummy ride. Super awesome! It’s sort of like WB Movie World’s Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster. Mega ❤ it!
You know how after awhile at the amusement park you get so engrossed with everything you just forget about the picture and enjoy yourself? Haha! That’s what happened to me.
At one point, it started raining *shakes fist*. That’s why I have a poncho in my hand. Haha. I usually carry a disposable poncho with me when I go traveling. Who knows what the weather is gonna be like. LOL.
When the rain started, the only ride we could go on was the Transformer ride. If you are going on this ride, make sure you get front seat! Only front seat gives you the best umph throughout the whole ride! Haha.
Met my other best friend! Haha. Cookie Monster ❤ I was having so much fun that time just flew past me without me knowing. Suddenly the skies are dark and it’s 7 pm liao. We slowly made our way out of USS, reluctantly. LOL.
We didn’t get to watch this show so we just took a picture with the sign. Haha. Look closely at the humans down there, one of the workers with an Elmo puppet took picture with us ツ
Nearing the exit, there was this small stage with a jukebox on it. We spent like half an hour on the stage taking (and retaking because it always turn out blur) crazy pictures like the one above! That’s Mel the Lil Sis and Ryu the BIL ツ
