…sing Along

With all of the planning leading up to the holidays (no pressure, but it’s less than 3 weeks away) it’s easy to get caught up in our own worlds and miss out on a cultural event or two…you know, like the Grammy nominees. (Surprise! These were announced this morning.)

I am the first one to admit that I’m not always on top of the latest, greatest movie acts. My pop culture focuses lie in the realm of movies, television, and theater, and I’m okay with that. Still, I accept that much of the world eats, sleeps, and breathes every note the music industry has to offer.

So, for those of you out there in the same boat as me, I thought I’d give you a quick helping hand (take it with a grain of salt), a quick cheat sheet for those of us who barely recognize the top 40. Here’s a good start, the songs nominated for “Song of the Year”:
