A spirit guide once told me, "Sing out the pain." That was a poignant bit of advice to receive. At that time I was so confused. I was caught up in my emotions, unsure of my own boundaries, and more. I suffered from the blues on more than one occasion. I was a sponge - soaking up the pains and hardships of others, although at that time I had no real awareness or understanding why I felt so deeply. Althea, just Althea also told me "Your pain is the world's pain." That spoke much to me since I later learned I was an empath, and if not careful, I would take on other's emotions and feel their pain.

And so, it is the music I sing that runs interference between me and all the free-floating sadness/pain/trauma/emotion/blues and what-have-you that saturates the atmosphere. Music is my love language. It is my healer, my therapy. It frees me. Music is the vehicle which lets life express through the music-maker.
Music is the object through which creation happens. Music also heals. Music has the power to move the most crusted over, wrenched-in place within me and set it free. Music is life. And so I sing.

There's a song only you can sing. It's your singular universal note. And it is imperative that you sing it, lest the music of the spheres be discordant. Sing because it matters. Sing because it's right. Sing to mend what ails you. Sing because your life, your heart needs it. Sing because your soul demands it, because your spirit needs it.
Sing to be free.
Sing.
