Sometimes I get reminders of why I titled this blog “Smoke and Minds” by simply walking into a lounge and being confronted with a new face, and before we are able to produce a millimeter worth of ashes, we are diving into Nietzsche, Fromm, or just into the pleasures in intellectual perceptions of what we consider to be life. Minds, Cigars and Pipes smoke.
Yesterday I found myself sitting across a young man. We were introduced and wasted no time in reaching those beloved multifaceted smoking levels.
Giorgio is not Italian, but from Utah. It is fairly difficult to give price or detail here to the points in our conversation, but as we paused after our first meeting at NYC Fine Cigars, met later at the Carnegie Club for further smoking, and then separated again, we were both pleased about the joys and battles in the ‘human condition’.
