Meet the Smooshys
The Smooshys are mischevious pets from the animal shelter in Smooshyville who sneak out at night to cause mischief. Their favourite hangout is a food factory called Smooshy Mushy Industries where they find more than just the yummiest treats but also Besties in the form of certain special food items including donuts, pancakes, marshmallows and more.Series 3 sees the Smooshies and their Bestie friends heading to the Creamery where there is a whole host of yummy treats and surprised to discover. Inside the Pack
The second you unscrew the plastic top off the ice cream you will be hit by the loveliest of scents coming from the squishy character, it's a smell that brings me right back to the days of collecting scented fancy notepaper as a kid. Next, you have the surprise of a blind bag with a Bestie hidden inside, a sticker with your Smooshy character on it, a name tag, a mini ice cream cone with 2 chains and a look-up guide to help you identify your characters. You can use the chains to turn your Bestie and the name tag into keyrings.Our Verdict
I have to admit I love the squishy craze just as much as the kids and these Smooshy Mushy Creamery Core Pets are super cute. Zoey loved the suspense of opening up her ice cream cone to reveal the surprises inside. The fact the Bestie is also in a bag adds to the excitement and we give a big thumbs up for being able to turn it into a keychain.The whole imaginative world and story behind the Smooshy Mushy range makes them more than just a squishy and we really enjoyed learning about it. The continuing themes are a fantastic idea as it makes collecting the Smooshys even more fun.
There are 8 Smooshy Mushy characters to collect in Series 3 with rare characters included. They come in different coloured ice cream cones which look great displayed in your child's room or playroom. I like the way you can pop all the bits back in the cone to store them when not in use.
