Last October 10 was the #ILuvCebuInstameet held at Montebello Villa Hotel. An event where we get to "instameet" friends from #iLuvCebu and the #Cebu #instagram communities! It was themed "Nice to Meet You" participated by around 50 Instagrammers. You can click this link to know more about the event.
I opted in wearing something comfy but still snazzy! So I brought this look to the instameet and didn't regret it. And yes, I got a new pair of shoes! All thanks to my beau, he bought me these as his birthday gift for me.
A little backstory here. So, we were in the middle of taking photos for this look when suddenly a roaming guard or some kind of a warden (for the lack of better term), warned us that it's not allowed to take photos around the area. Oh well, we decided to just leave the area and thought maybe I could just do the rest of my poses when I get to the event location, which was at Montebello Villa Hotel.
Here are the shots my friend, Dolly Pontillas - who I only met during the event and is really awesome - took for me.
I saw some pretty nice spots inside the hotel but it was almost dark so my photos probably would've suffered from bad lighting so I decided to do it by the pool instead. When the event finished, my friends and I went on another way to the exit and there I found out another lovely place for me to shoot but it was already too late. It was already too dark to do it so I just snapped it on my Snapchat (add me! katherineannika) and poured out my distress there. Haha. Although, I somehow got to take a pose on their white wall while sitting on the staircase and posted it on Instagram. Super big thanks to VSCO, it helped me with the lighting and I still managed to retouch it enough to fit on my feed.

We were divided into four groups and I, as a proud member of group 4, was really overwhelmed winning the best group award! We just had our pizza party yesterday but unfortunately, there were only five of us since the others had some other errands to attend to.
My #iLuvCebuInstameet experience was pretty great! I met a lot of new awesome people who basically love what I also love doing and that is Instagramming, haha! Til next meetup! I heard it would be this coming December, so don't miss it!
