Just back, jet-lagged and stupid, from two weeks in Morocco where we used to live.
Herewith some photos of the marvelous fresh fruit -the strawberries in season, tomatoes that taste of something (tomatoes!) and the sweet carrots. Locavores rejoice --everything grown within 10 kilometeres.
A rug outside in the courtyard at Susie's place.
Some artificial flowers in Dar Mimoun the battiest restaurant in the world.
Oranges...
and delicate roses.
There is lots more I long to say about this gritty, rich, poor, delightful, exasperating,
astounding country. I'm sure I'll bore you with it all sooner or later. More photos here
and here.
